History

Having worked together for over a decade, Andrew Meyers and Marvin Straus formed Straus Meyers, LLP in 2018 with the goal of providing aggressive, cost-effective representation while maintaining the utmost respect and appreciation for our clients.

Marvin Straus began his career working for one of the largest insurers in the United States as defense counsel. After years defending insureds he joined a small regional firm focusing on insurance defense and coverage. Andrew Meyers joined forces with him in San Diego in 2007, and from 2007 to 2018 the two provided representation for some of the nation's largest insurers, businesses large and small, and individuals.

Over the course of ten years an office of two grew to an office of multiple attorneys, paralegals and support staff. Desiring further growth potential and the ability to adapt dynamically to our clients' needs, Straus Meyers, LLP was formed in 2018.

We use enterprise cloud storage that is fully HIPAA compliant, with bank-grade encryption and industry-leading security protocols, across Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS, alongside leading matter-management and billing platforms — all redundant to guarantee maximal uptime. We also offer a client-facing portal allowing easy access to files and large uploads.
